Welcome to my cozy cottage in the warm, welcoming community of Pine Lake! My place is only about 20 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson international airport, 7 miles to Stone Mountain Park, and 7 miles to downtown Decatur. You will be renting my entire home (2x1) and have access to the front outdoor entertainment area which consists of an in-ground fire ring, small zen pond, the kitchen gardens (though it may be tempting, please refrain from picking the harvest!), and an outdoor grilling space. The space I recently began a permaculture endeavor here on my property. There’s an organic garden, large in ground fire pit, outdoor seating, and a small zen pond. Most of the permaculture projects have been recycled and community driven. I would love to open this space to you for your enjoyment! You will have the entire 2x1 to yourself, though it’s possible I may be on the property (but well out of your way!) Backyard is off limits, as this is primarily where I work. The length of your stay will determine if we will have much interaction. I try to keep my distance when I have guests, but it’s a small, working homestead and my presence is very much needed on site every few days. You will also have access to the following: Lake Beach Volleyball Playground Community Garden - though our local residents have a green thumb, please be mindful that their harvest is solely for their consumption. If you feel sticky fingers coming on, please pick your nose rather than our neighbors food! Other things to note Pine Lake has quite a few stop signs and one way streets, one of which we reside. We live in a very active community where humans and pets both roam - leashed, of course - please be mindful of the speed limit and one way streets. Happy adventuring!
