Cozy private room in downtown Steamboat Springs

This is a cozy master bedroom with its own private bathroom upstairs in our home, ideally located in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado. My husband and I live downstairs. The room is ideal for the active guest, who likes to explore Steamboat. Guests will have limited access to the kitchen (fridge, waterboiler, toaster). Let us know if you want coffee in the morning and we can have it set to go. STR20260326 The space This is an older house, but has a lot of charm. We take pride in making sure your room is clean. Before every check-in: the bathroom is scrubbed and mopped, the carpet is vacuumed. The sheets and towels are freshly washed. The bed is a fairly new queen-size bed and has an European style down blanket, this means the cover gets washed after every visit. That replaces the American style cover sheet. You have your own parking space on our driveway. If needed you can park your bikes in our old garage. Guest access Guests have access to their private room and bathroom upstairs. You will be accessing your room through our living room. We also added an air purifier in the shared space. You can have limited use of our kitchen (fridge, microwave, water boiler). You are welcome to eat in our backyard patio or in your room. By request I can put a mattress (single) on the floor, if you don't want to share the bed. I will charge an additional $10, during your stay, for that. Still only 2 guests allowed. During your stay I have lived in this house, in Steamboat with my husband, Jon and two daughters for over 26 years. Our daughters have moved out, but we still live here. We would love to get to know our guests and provide insider tips to getting to know Steamboat. Other things to note If you are unhappy with anything during your stay, please let us know. We really try for you to have a nice stay with us. For your information: I clean mostly with green products and stay away from harsh cleaning supplies, but will abide now with airbnb's cleaning protocol. Disinfecting wipes are available in the room.
