We welcome traveling medical staff, students & family, political participants, history buffs, shoppers & more. Hampden-Sydney College is within east reach. It's an easy day trips to Appomattox, Jefferson's Monticello, Civil War Museums, Yogaville Ashram and water sports on the James & much more. Farmville is also an active art community & local artists visit often. You will definitely need a car to get around. However, being only 3 miles from many of the places you will be visiting, you can ride a bike or walk. We are conveniently located "In the Heart of Virginia"! If you're traveling with friends or family the Sky View Room or the Garden Room can be conveniently booked to accommodate additional guests in our house.
