House on the lake facing Comacina Island

The house by the lake, away from the noises of the street, overlooking Comacina Island, considered one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites in northern Italy for the early Middle Ages, offering a breathtaking view of the beauty of the lake and mountains. The surrounding environment frames the lake, a true work of art of the place, thanks to its tranquility, peace and calm that it infuses. The house is located in the historic village of Ossuccio, a small hamlet of Tremezzina. The space The house, available only a few weeks a year during the owner's absence, renovated and modernized with wi-fi and air conditioning, welcomes its customers with 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchenette with a living room and finally a terrace directly on the lake. Also from the house you can access the lake directly. The kitchen offers all the comforts you need to make you feel at home: stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and a sink that in addition to the normal water faucet is also equipped with another faucet with water purifier. The living room accompanies the home atmosphere offered by the kitchen with an open space furnished with a sofa, TV, fireplace and a glass table for 4 people. Going up the stairs, you reach the first floor, where you'll find the main bathroom. Thanks to its spaciousness and design, the main bathroom offers all the essential amenities: sink, toilet, bidet, shower stall. Next to the main bathroom you will find a closed room where the owner's affections are kept. On the top floor, there is the master bedroom and the bathroom. The small but very functional bathroom, furnished with toilet and sink; next to the spacious bedroom with a view over the entire island of Comacina. The bedroom consists of a spacious double bed, a spacious wardrobe, a mirror, air conditioning, and finally the balcony. The house is perfect to spend a week relaxing as a couple thanks to the romantic landscape, or get to know the beauty of Lake Como. Services: Near the house are the main necessary services; the popular bank of Sondrio at 300m and the bank known as Sanpaolo 1 km away. While one km towards Menaggio you can find 2 supermarkets and a pharmacy. There are several restaurants in the area. For parking we provide a private indoor box 120 meters away from the house. Other things to note Directly on the lake for a regenerating swim, a few steps from the house you can admire 'La Velarca', a house-boat, built in the late fifties by the Milanese spouses Norsa, usually frequented by intellectuals, humanists and architects.
