Description
Head upstairs to escape into the Hightop House. The sunny, vaulted space overlooks bustling 32nd Avenue in the heart of Denver's popular Highlands neighborhood. Bold pops of color and artfully curated pieces enhance a loft-like living space with skylights. The thoughtfully designed space is equally comfortable for one guest staying a single night or for a group of friends settling in for a week or more. Come stay with us! The space Two large private bedrooms anchor a soaring, vaulted living area flooded with light from skylights and south-facing windows. This family-friendly guesthouse was designed and built from the ground-up in 2019 by husband-and-wife design team above their new Highlands neighborhood studio. Walk and shop at the nearby wine and cheese markets, bookstores, coffeeshops and seasonal Farmer's Market — then bring your fresh ingredients back home to the expansive, chef's kitchen with gas range and large entertaining island. Or leave the cooking to some of Denver's best new restaurants along 32nd Avenue, just steps from your door. Back home, settle into your spacious living room with comfortable couch, large television, and open plan to the kitchen, dining table, cozy reading nook, and study desk. Guest access The entire guesthouse belongs to you during your stay. There is plentiful street parking just outside the unit. You have a private, separate entrance in the back of the building with secure keypad lock. The entire guesthouse is located upstairs above our ground floor design studio. Other things to note The guesthouse is up a single flight of stairs. There is plenty of closet space, brand-new bathroom with walk-in shower, and the full kitchen is stocked with the basics so you can start the day with coffee. We are in a walkable neighborhood full of young people, families, and dogs. Explore its markets, coffee shops, restaurants, and parks. A wonderful old bookstore and a marijuana dispensary are just steps away. The area is wonderful for walking, though you'll probably want a car (or Uber/Lyft) to get around the rest of the city. We're also right on the bus line which can take you downtown. And like most cities these days, we're drowning in those electric scooter things too — so there's that.
