The ancient stone walls make it cool in the summer and warm in winter. It has two double bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom – one of which has a jacuzzi and is also equipped for the disabled. The living/dining room has a fully-equipped kitchen corner if you wish to cook for yourself, or if you have special dietary needs. Each room has air conditioning, and – in addition to the central heating - each room has its own heat regulator, TV, DVD player, and hairdryer. Free internet access is available on request. In each room it is possible to add a single bed or a child’s cot. Guest access From the veranda and the garden outside you can relax and enjoy the view over to Montetiffi. This small medieval village was once the site of a celebrated Benedictine monastery. Today it houses a museum dedicated to the work of the monk, Agostino Venanzio Reali, who was a distinguished poet, painter and sculptor. The B&B is situated between the Valle del Rubicone and the Valmarecchia, historically influenced by the Malatesta and the Dukes of Montefeltro, with fortresses and medieval villages perched on the hills – such as Sant’Agata Feltria, Casteldelci, Pennabilli and the stunningly located castle of San Leo, built on a precipitous cliff (20 minutes from the B&B). From Cà Biocco it takes only forty minutes to reach the sea (Rimini-Cesenatico), or the ski slopes of Monte Carpegna in the winter. Oniy 20 minutes away, at Perticara, there are countless bolted routes for climbers of all levels - from beginners to experts. Cà Biocco is within easy reach of towns famous for their artistic heritage: of art: San Marino (20 minutes); Urbino (an hour and a half); Bologna (an hour and a half); Sansepolcro (one hour, via the beautiful road between Nova Feltria and Viamaggio); Perugia (2 hrs). The B&B is near Sogliano al Rubicone, famous (together with its competitor, the nearby Talamello) for its ‘Formaggio di fossa’, cheese matured underground in pits/”fosse”). It is a key ingredient of many local dishes which you can taste in several good restaurants in the area. And if you are feeling energetic, there are pleasant walks in the vicinities and mountain bikes are also available for guests. Registration Details IT040046C1JZK2QMPT
