Peaceful dog-friendly cottage with large garden

Ty Cerrig is a detached, multi dog-friendly stone cottage on Anglesey, which sleeps up to 6. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (including an en-suite). It is on the edge of a semi-rural village on a quiet lane overlooking fields. With a log burner, large enclosed garden and patio and warm-water wash station for sandy paws and boots, Ty Cerrig is well placed for exploring, with Aberffraw and Rhosneigr beaches, both just under 10 minutes' drive. Private, off-road parking (2 spaces). The space Ty Cerrig is a detached stone cottage sleeping up to six guests in a semi-rural Anglesey village. Believed to date back more than 150 years, it combines original character with the comforts needed for family holidays, breaks with friends and stays with the dog. The cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large log burner and a generous enclosed rear garden. It is just over 10 minutes by car from Aberffraw and Rhosneigr, making it a comfortable base for beach days, local walks and exploring the island. Living, dining and kitchen The welcoming lounge is arranged around a large log burner, with a starter basket of logs included for your arrival. There is a separate dining room for family meals, games or catching up on emails. The kitchen-diner is well equipped and includes a dishwasher. A separate utility room has a washing machine, heat-pump tumble dryer and a handy downstairs WC. Bedrooms and bathrooms A cast-iron spiral staircase leads to the first floor, where all three bedrooms look out across the fields at the front of the cottage. There is a twin bedroom, a king-size bedroom and a spacious master bedroom set slightly apart for added privacy. The master has dual-aspect field views and an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower. The family bathroom includes both a walk-in shower and a freestanding bath. Outside, parking and local area The large enclosed rear garden and patio offer space to relax outdoors, with gates across the driveway and off-road parking for up to two cars in front of the garage. Walks start from the doorstep, while the village shop, which includes a Post Office, and local pub are around five minutes away on foot. Aberffraw and Rhosneigr beaches are both just over 10 minutes away by car. Linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Family-friendly facilities A high chair, travel cot, folding bed guard and fixed stair gate at the top of the stairs are available. The travel cot is 120 x 60cm and includes a mattress, but cot bedding is not provided. Bringing your dog Dogs are warmly welcomed. Ty Cerrig has a large enclosed rear garden, dog bowls, throws, dog towels and a warm-water dog wash station for cleaning sandy paws after days out. Please let me know if you are bringing a dog. A one-off dog charge is donated to Dogs 4 Rescue and PAWS Anglesey. Please bring your dog’s own bed and bedding if you would like them to be in or on bedroom furniture. Wild rabbits are sometimes seen in the garden and neighbouring gardens. They generally move away when people or dogs are outside, but guests with dogs with a high prey drive may wish to keep this in mind. Good to know Linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. WiFi is available. Mobile signal can be variable in the village, depending on your network. The lounge furniture is positioned around the log burner rather than the TV. You are welcome to move it to suit your stay, but please return it to its original layout before departure. Off road parking is available on the driveway immediately in front of the garage (two cars). There are gates across the drive. Other things to note There is no EV charger on-site. Guests should not charge their vehicles from the domestic sockets. There are charging points across the island.
