Dar Albatros is located in the countryside of Sidi Kaouki, where the enchanting landscape beautifully blends the Atlantic Ocean with the wild charm of the surrounding nature. To make sure everyone can enjoy the peace and quiet, I kindly ask you to keep noise below 60 decibels (about the level of a normal conversation) and to use headphones when watching videos or listening to music. We will make you a special offer. ---***--- During your stay with us you will discover the peacefulness and freshness of the countryside, surrounded by the foothills of the Anti Atlas. You will smell the fresh breeze and hear the ocean waves. Just a 5 minutes drive or a 20 minutes walk through the countryside will bring you to Sidi Kaouki, a little village, known for it’s dreamy surf, windsurf and kitesurf possibilities. In the 5 km bay you will find enough spots to ride on the clean waves (between 1-3 meters high). The Cave/La Grotte boasts the biggest waves in the area and is a couple of kilometers away from Sidi Kaouki on the road to Essaouira. When everything else is closed and windy the waves will still be working well here. It is best accessed by 4wd, but you can also drive to the little village near the Cap Sim Lighthouse and walk. Besides windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing, there are still many activities to experience: horse riding on the beach, camel tours, hiking in the foothills of the anti Atlkas, trips to exclusive and lonely beaches in the area, trips to local souks, simply relax on the beaches or in the garden and lots of other fun activities like artistic workshops, photography course, cooking classes, visit a local family, mindfulness, yoga classes, going to the hammam, swimming in the pool, pool volley, ‘jeu de boules’, beach tennis, beach volley, beach football… There are some small shops in the village which supply basic needs. In Essaouira (30 kilometers from Sidi Kaouki) you will find all you need. There are to big supermarkets and lots of smaller superettes and local shops. You can reach Sidi Kaouki by bus from Essaouira (at Bab Doukala) or by taxi. We advise you to rent a car whilst staying in Dar Albatros. We can help you rent one, but there are many possibilities for renting all sorts of cars at the airport of Marrakech.
