Charming Upper Nantahala Cabin

Charming one-bedroom cabin that sits above the upper Nantahala River. The cabin consists of one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, an additional full bathroom, and an open-concept living and dining room. An SUV with 4WD is strongly recommended for winter conditions. We unfortunately cannot accommodate pets, and maximum occupancy is 2 people. The space The cabin has winter and fall views and sits above the upper Nantahala. During heavy rain and dam releases, the river, which is just downhill, can be raging and you'll enjoy falling asleep to the sound of the rapids; during the summer, and when the dam releases aren't occurring, the river is a quiet stream that you can enjoy wading in. The cabin itself has all the amenities that you'll need and is in close proximity to local attractions, including a range of hiking, lake, and rafting options. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and small-size washer & dryer. The cabin has satellite internet (note: Wi-Fi strength and availability depend on the weather; the wi-fi supports basic internet needs but does not allow for reliable streaming or gaming). This area is in the mountains and relatively secluded, so does not have cell service . The large deck area has outdoor seating, a grill, and a small (seats 2) hottub. The parking area also has a fire pit and additional seating.
