A renovated 200-year-old French countryside home on 6.25 acres with its own private pond and forest. Very peaceful--yet invigorating!--located only 2 kilometers outside town. If you love waking up to birds chirping, surrounded by trees and lush green grass in a natural park-like setting, taking long walks, paddle-boating or fishing on your own pond and pier, this place is for you. The space SAFETY: The stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom with the double bed and bunkbeds are very narrow and steep. Young children must be supervised on stairs. The ladder-like stairs to the open loft bedroom with 2 single beds is also very steep and not suitable for young children to sleep in. Though the property is surrounded by fencing, and the pond is a distance from the house, there is no secure fencing between the house and the pond. KITCHEN INCLUDES: dishwasher, cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, utensils, dishware, stemware, flatware, blender, coffee maker and filters, Phillips Sensor pod coffee maker, steamer, electric water pot, vinegars, oils, salt, pepper and a small collection of herbs and spices. There will be enough coffee and black tea for a day or two. COMMON SPACE: a collection of board games and reusable shopping bags, cleaning tools are in closets.
