At Viscri 44: a Saxon experience

On Church Street. Outdoor spaces for relaxation. Room 2, on ground floor, is our most spacious, high-ceiling room, with its own separate entry, freshly renovated full bath and antique furniture, ceramics and hand-loomed textiles, typical for the area; among them, the iconic hand-painted antique wall hangers and the high Saxon bed with drawer adorned with its antique, hand-loomed dowry pillows and cover typical of the Rupea area. An experience worth trying at least once in a lifetime. The space Viscri 44 is an old Saxon household, once belonging to one of the important families of the village, being so close to the Church. The former annexes of the house have been converted into guestrooms. The main building has taken its current form in 1851. The relatively large yard, with riverstone alleys, grass and flowers offers good opportunities for relaxation. Each rooms has an individual entrance. All the guest area has been renovated during the past two years. For the cold period, the room heating is individually controlled, with digital termostates. Guest access After check-in and luggage unloading, the village parking is available free of charge for all visitors. Other things to note A beautiful village, saveguarding much of its historic look, with much of its inhabitants still living out of farming. Our rooms, while displaying original hand-made furniture and decorations from the area, do not make any compromise with the modern comfort: each room has digitally-controlled heating, while the fully-equipped bathrooms have been completely renovated during the past two years.
