Leyland - Large Peaceful Double En-Suite Bedroom

This comfortable large room in our detached house is in a quiet residential area of Leyland, but just a five minute walk from local shops, pubs and good public transport links into Preston. Free parking and secure bike parking is available. The seaside towns of Southport, Lytham St Annes, and Blackpool are within 30 mins drive, and we are only minutes from the motorway network to get to Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, The Lake District, West Pennine Moors, Yorkshire Dales and Peak District. The space While you are here, our house will be your home too. You are welcome to use our kitchen and dining room as well as having exclusive use of your own ensuite shower and toilet. Tea, coffee, milk and other drinks are always available in the kitchen, and you can help yourself to a choice of breakfasts in the morning. You will usually find muesli, porridge, bread, fruit, eggs and milk. You can alternatively bring your own food to eat in our dining room. Next to the parking space there is an outdoor metered 13A socket which can be used on request to charge electric vehicles overnight at domestic rates. We try to be as green as possible, recycling everything we can, composting all food waste for use in our garden and collecting water from the roof to water the garden. But most of all we love our combination of the latest LG Solar Panels and Tesla Powerwall 2 which makes us completely self-sufficient for electricity, as we generate more than we use throughout the year. It is used to power the house and also supplies 100% green solar energy to the grid at peak periods. To date this has saved more than 4600kg of carbon dioxide emissions. Come and take a look for yourself! Guest access You have your own private double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet plus access to some shared areas including the Dining Room, Kitchen. During your stay If there's anything you need or want to know just ask! We will be around during your stay, so you can chat with us as much or as little as you want. We are keen cyclists and tennis players, so you can always join us for a game at our local club or get local information.
