CHARMING HOME IN ST. LOUIS HILLS

You don't have to get Ted Drewes frozen custard (the most recognized Landmark in the neighborhood) EVERYDAY that you stay at the Carousel Cottage…but you should take the short stroll ( 2 min. walk) and enjoy one of their famous concretes or sundaes at least one time during your stay. Ted Drewes has been operating here for 90 years. Enjoy! P.S. Starbucks and Lion Choice are literally next door to my backyard. Also, walk about 7 min. to Rockwell Beer Garden in Francis Park for some great Pizza The space Welcome to the "Carousel Cottage" my 1400 square foot, 2 bed/ 2 bath home, equipped with a large open, eat-in kitchen, comfy couches and sitting area off kitchen. Unique family room decor including a comfy sectional and leather chair with ottoman for relaxing, big flat screen TV with digital cable and the back bedroom also has a flat screen TV. This home is walkable to Starbucks, St. Louis Bread Co., Lions Choice, Arby's, Ted Drewes famous frozen custard - LeGrands neighborhood market and deli (Great sandwiches made to order) for dining there is a delicious mediterranean restaurant across the street on Chippewa - Aya Sofia. You don't even need to use your car if you don't want to. The home is located in the charming St. Louis Hills neighborhood, and is a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Francis park. Just a short 10 minute drive to the Missouri Botanical Garden, St. Louis Zoo, Forest Park, St. Louis Science Center and the eclectic Central West End (CWE) neighborhood with independent restaurants, antique stores, coffee shops, bookstores, ice cream shops and bars and more. The Gateway Arch and the City Museum are are just a short drive, also. I will not be present during your stay. There are 3 grocery stores within a half mile of my house - 1 Schnucks supermarket and 1 Dierbergs supermarket plus a Target store with a grocery section on The corner of Chippewa Ave and Hampton Ave. Guest access Full kitchen with full size fridge (complete with ice maker) stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, tea pot, cookware, utensils and dishes. towels, linens, iron and ironing board, hairdryer washer & dryer ceiling fans in both bedrooms beds are queen size central air 55" HDTV in family room with DVD player 26" HDTV with cable in the master bedroom WI-FI wireless internet
