Les Cabanes des Landes – Cabin on stilts

Peaceful haven nestled in the heart of the Corrèze countryside, on 5 hectares along the river. There is only a small road to access it and a multitude of paths to discover this wonderful corner of nature. The space 🎉🎉🎉Holiday season special: For this occasion, we are putting up a Christmas tree that you can decorate, or that we can decorate for you according to your wishes. 🎉🎉🎉 Please note: We will be away from October 22–28. There will be someone on site to welcome you and to help if needed, but there will be no activities (archery, quad bike rides, food service). However, you have free access to the pétanque court, pool table and darts, the spa, and animal care. Spacious stilt house with a large living room, kitchenette, master bedroom with a queen-size bed, and children's bedroom with bunk beds. Max. 6 people. Separate bathroom and dry toilet. Big covered terrace on a fully fenced plot. The cabin is 30 meters from the river, quiet is guaranteed. Living in nature doesn't mean going without comfort, so it is equipped with all modern conveniences: water (cold, hot), electricity, Wi-Fi internet, and a TV. Mobile phones work via Wi-Fi calling or Internet telephony. In the interest of protecting nature, we ask that you use the 100% biodegradable products that we provide. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. It even allows you to achieve a temperature of 18–20°C in winter. Please note that, like any wood-burning heater, it needs to be refilled with wood regularly (max. 5 hours of autonomy, wood provided). Upon request, we can refill it during the day while you're away. If you forget to add wood at night, we provide electric blankets and hot water bottles, and, upon request, a kerosene heater (only when it's freezing). Please note that this accommodation is a cabin. It is insulated and can be used in winter, but it obviously does not have the insulation levels of a house. It won't be possible to wear a T-shirt in the middle of winter 😉 Babies: For happy grandparents, we have equipment to make it easier for you to come with a baby. We do not leave this equipment in the cabin, but please feel free to ask us for it (baby bed, crib, musical mobile, no highchair but a table seat (from 6 months), bathtub, bed rail, etc.). On fine days, a communal area at the entrance to the property features a dining and breakfast area, a relaxation area (TV, library, board games) and a recreation area with pétanque, darts and a pool table (for guests aged 12 and over and under parental supervision). Several activities will be offered for an extra charge. SPA: A spa is available in a secluded part of the property. One session will be offered for any booking of 2 nights minimum. For safety reasons, it is not accessible to children under 12 years old. A babysitting service will be offered for small children if needed. Each session is privatized. On-demand session price (about 40 minutes): €10/person for residents of the huts rented for one night. Remember to book your session in advance. Guest access Vehicles can access the cabin in dry weather to bring things in on arrival and out on departure. Free parking is available at the entrance to the property in order to preserve the tranquility of the place. In rainy weather, for your arrival and departure, we will accompany you with our 4x4 vehicle. Other things to note On certain occasions, if you wish, you can take part in various farm activities (milking the goats, making cheese, feeding the animals, bottle-feeding, etc.). It is not possible to plan these activities in advance during your stay, as they are too dependent on births, the animals' needs, and the weather, but please feel free to ask us about them—there is always something going on. In addition to on-site activities (pétanque, billiards, board games, fishing, etc...) other activities are possible with extra charge( introduction to target archery, etc...). If you are looking for activities, please let us know especially for those who request a reservation before your arrival, especially for short stays. You will find on site duvets and pillows. Bed linen, bath linens and tea towels are not included in the rental so as not to impose the additional cost on our guests. If you want to bring your own linen we will give you the size of the beds, for others, a linen pack is available with extra charge (€5/pers). For the final cleaning, we ask that the accommodation be returned in the condition in which it was found. If you have chosen the linen package option, please strip the beds without turning over the duvet and pillow covers, and leave the mattress covers on the beds. For those who wish, a cleaning option is available for €30, to be paid on site. Please let us know if possible upon check-in. Events allowed after agreement
