Lovely one bedroom studio apartment. Amazing views, lemon trees and dozens of wild peacocks roam the yard. Very relaxing and peaceful, perfect for couples. Attached in-law suite with a private entrance. You have the entire space to yourself! 450 sq ft, full bath with washer/dryer. Kitchenette w/ fridge. HDTV with Amazon FireTV and free WiFi. Heating and A/C. There is a huge private deck w/ seating and a BBQ. One queen bed w/ down comforter and down mattress topper...very comfy! The space Our Space: Quiet and relaxing space with amazing views of unique rock formations and oak trees. The deck is private, sunny and beautiful with a large BBQ available. Dozens of wild peacocks roam the yard and perch in the trees. We also have great bird watching...scrub jays, hooded orioles, doves and many others nest in the trees. Hikers dream! Tons of trails to explore with wonderful views and rock formations. Check out our list of locations in our listing Guide Book for the trail heads. Lots of local restaurants posted there as well. We are just down the street from Hummingbird Nest Ranch, so it's perfect if you are attending a wedding or event there. Kitchenette has a 3/4 fridge, microwave, large toaster oven with two burner stove top, a Kuerig coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. There is a washer and dryer in the space that is free to use and comes with with complimentary detergent. Private entrance around the back, down the outdoor stairway to the left of the garage. The stairs go down pretty far so if you need any help with your bags, please let us know. The space is not handicapped accessible. Parking is just up hill from the driveway on the brick paver section next to the lawn. the space is very private and you will have the entire space to yourself. Please note your ceiling is our floor so you may hear us walking around from time to time. Guest access There is a huge downstairs deck with a large BBQ grill and a seating area. Plus a small table and chairs below. Also several lemon trees, feel free to pick some. Please use stairs to left of driveway. You have the entire unit to yourself, the only shared space is the ceiling (which is our floor) so you'll hear us walking around sometimes. Other things to note Watch out for the wild peacocks! There are a dozen or so that roam around our yard. They are curious and gentle and don't be surprised if they greet you on the deck in the mornings. During mating season in the Spring they can be noisy in the mornings. You'll see them crossing the road as well so keep an eye out while driving. Please don't feed them! We also get raccoons at night so don't leave any food out and keep trash can lids closed. It's a hillside home and the unit is down at the lower part of the house. The stairs to the left of the driveway are outdoors and go a fair distance down, so this is something you will need to be able to navigate. If you need help with your bags, just let me know and I'll be happy to assist. There is no wheelchair or disabled access to the space...sorry. It's a bit tricky to drive around at night as the roads are narrow and the streets are not well lit. Best to try and arrive before dark if you can. Also, please be aware the plumbing runs to a sump pump so no trash or food waste in the toilet or sink. Damage to the pump from trash will result in additional fees. Please no smoking inside, but you can feel free to smoke on the deck. The kitchen has a Kuerig w/ complimentary K-cups. There is also a big toaster oven w/ two burners and a microwave if you feel like doing some cooking. Pots and pans are provided. We currently don't charge a cleaning fee, please help us keep costs low for future guests by cleaning up before you leave. You have the entire unit and the deck and BBQ all to yourself, so no concerns about shared space. But your ceiling is our floor, so you may hear us walking around. Please park on the brick paver section just above the lawn. We are home most nights and can always help you with anything.
