Catbells is a lovely, modern, detached bungalow in a quiet area in St Bees with a garage, a glass walled terrace overlooking the golf course, sea & village and use of a large games room with table tennis & darts. It has a suntrap back garden and is only 10 minutes walk to the beach. It's ideal for a relaxing holiday. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and have taken the good from them all to make sure we have everything to make it a happy, memorable holiday. WE HAVE A 10% DISCOUNT FOR 7 DAY OR OVER The space The rooms are light and airy with good views. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all mod cons. We offer cafetiere coffee, a selection of teas, cereals, jams and a welcome hamper! The bedrooms are cosy and comfortable. The bathroom has a heated floor and a nice bath/shower. We provide games, Lake District and local books & maps, and TV/DVDs for an evening's entertainment as well as good Wi-fi. There are comfy outdoor loungers, umbrellas (rarely needed!), walking poles, spare towels for swimming and a tide clock. WE DON'T CHARGE A CLEANING FEE. Other things to note We are a ten minute walk from our lovely sandy beach and there are numerous walks nearby, including up St Bees Head (RSPB) and along the beach, round the village and back. Another popular walk is along the cliffs (England Coastal Path) to Whitehaven where you can get a train back to St Bees. St Bees village has several pubs and a shop/post office. The pubs offer a good choice of where to eat. The Beach Café and shop is very popular. It is only 10 mins away and some of our guests have recommended it for breakfast with a super view overlooking St Bees Head and the sea! We also have a cabin on our lawn (we live next door) which you are welcome to use. It has table tennis and darts and other games . It’s good to have on the rare occasion it might rain! If you arrive by train we are 10 mins walk away. If you need a lift just let us know.
