Description

Comfortable home near beach and 2 restaurants and a few minutes drive from attractions like the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, Portrush Golf Club and numerous "Game of Thrones" film locations. You’ll love it because you can cook in the kitchen and watch the kids play in the cosy sitting area, lie on the balcony in the sun or sit by the wood-burning stove on cold winter nights. Great home for a family holiday. **Please ask re discounts for stays 5+days during low season** The space 53 Ballintrae Park is a newly-renovated, 3 bedroom end-terrace house in a quiet residential area only a few minutes walk from the beach. Situated in the coastal village of Portballintrae, centre of the world famous Causeway Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a simple relaxing family holiday by the beach, an energetic week of walking, riding and water sports in stunning surroundings, a romantic weekend getaway by a log fire, or a combination of them all! The world famous Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle and Royal Portrush Golf Course are all within a 10 minute drive. The Causeway Coast caters for all with stunning beaches, cliff top and country walks, world class golf courses, great restaurants, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and Game of Thrones locations............the list goes on! Portballintrae is quiet during low season but busy with families during holiday periods. The village of Bushmills is 5 minutes drive, the livelier seaside town of Portrush is about 10 minutes drive away and the main shopping town of Coleraine is about 15-20 minutes drive. Sleeping accommodation is on the ground floor with 2 double rooms (one ensuite), a twin room and bathroom. There is also a utility/wet room with shower which you can use on returning from the beach/golf course/a walk and wash yourself and equipment before entering the rest of the house. Outside there is a large patio area with garden furniture and gas barbeque, and ample parking space. Upstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) with dining and a comfortable sitting area. There is also a living room which opens up onto a large balcony with sunbeds, table and chairs. In the living room there is a wood-burning stove for cosy winter evenings by the fire. Both upstairs rooms have lovely views across the village to the Giants Causeway and the Scottish Isle of Islay beyond. Additional features included Sky HD and DVD player with a small collection of DVD’s, family games and a section of books for all tastes. Bed linen, normal use of heating and electricity and a small welcome pack is included. During July and August bookings are restricted to full weeks, starting and ending on a Friday. **Please message me regarding discounts for stays of 5+days during low season times as Airbnb no longer facilitate this particular function but I can still manually give discounts on request (January - April and October - December, bank holidays excluded)** Guest access Guests have access to the whole house except for a small store accessed from outside.
