Millpond Cottage, Isle of Arran

Millpond Cottage on the beautiful Isle of Arran, sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. The ferry to Arran is only 50 minutes from Glasgow and is one of Scotland's most accessible islands. Millpond Cottage is a charming traditional stone built cottage surrounded by farmland and with sea views from all aspects, many walks from the doorstep and a dog friendly pub within a ten minute walk. Enclosed in its own private garden it is idea for families and we welcome your well behaved dog. The space Millpond Cottage sleeps up to six guests and has parking for two cars. The double and twin bedrooms are both upstairs and have stunning sea and countryside views from all aspects, both bedrooms have a window seat which is a great spot to sit a while and watch the sunlight playing on the water. The bunk room is on the ground floor with three foot wide bunk beds which are suitable for adults but it's an idea room for children. The bathroom has a bath with a electric shower over, a basin and toilet. The lounge has large comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove, colour television with free-view, DVD player, a Radio/CD player and there are plenty of books to borrow during your stay. The dining room over looks the rear garden and leads to a games room with a football table. There are plenty of board games for rainy days and outdoor games for the sunny days. Access to the rear garden is through french doors to a patio area with outdoor seating and is a lovely sun-trap. There is a rotary clothes dryer and hosepipe for mucky pups. The large kitchen is very well equipped with ample crockery and cutlery, a double fan oven, fridge with small freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a pine table with seating for six. A door leads out into a bright sunroom with comfy conservatory seating. The cottage has free electric heating throughout and is fully double glazed. We like to welcome our guests with a homemade cake and a few little few extras. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are always waiting, so you don't need to unpack to have a brew after your journey. All Electricity, Bed Linen, Towels and Firewood are provided. (Please bring your own tea towels and beach/swimming towels) Your well behaved dog is very welcome in Millpond Cottage, sometimes two by prior arrangement only. Millpond Cottage is non-smoking accommodation.
