FEBRUARLY '24..WE HAVE JUST RENOVATED our GUEST HOUSE .. Visit our guest house, Dar Amadine, and experience traditional Berber hospitality while surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Look out of the windows to enjoy the unique scenery of the High Atlas Mountains. View Jbel Toubkal, 4167metres the highest mountain peak in North Africa. This peak is snow covered in the cooler months of the year. Or relax on the roof terrace while drinking a cup of traditional Moroccan mint tea. The space weDAR AMADINE. offers a traditional Berber experience. The rooms are decorated in true Berber style with traditional tiling and authentic Berber cuisine There are 3 bedrooms; two with ensuite bathrooms, western toilets and hot showers. (Each bedroom has a queen bed which can be separated into two single beds). A central dining room with a wood stove for winter warmth. A second dining room adjacent to the roof terrace where you can dine and relax looking at the spectacular views of the High Atlas Mountains, the lush green farmed terraces throughout the valleys and the Berber villages perched on the mountain sides. There is also a communal kitchen which is situated next to the second dining room. Guest access DAR AMADINE is situated near the village of Imlil, which is the central point for trekking and climbing in the High Atlas Mountains. And can be accessed from Imlil via a short mountain track. This track is easy to negotiate and takes about 15 – 20 minute to walk.. If preferred one can take a mule- ride up to your accommodation from the village of Imlil Dar Amadine is located in the heart of the High Atlas ( Imlil Valley is 64km from Marrakech ) If you have your own transport, you can drive from Marrakech and take the road linking Marrakech and Taroudant. Continue through Tahnaoute, then take the road signposted to Imlil on the left after the town of Tahnaoute During your stay Dar Amadine offers a number of tourist attractions and packages for clients and guests. We have many different options. Trekking for all different capabilities, from climbing the mountain Jebel Toubkal to a short afternoon walk. We can include lunch as part of the package or an overnight stay at Dar Amadine including dinner and breakfast. Mule rides for those who don’t want to trek. Experience Berber culture by visiting a Berber home and meet the local people. See the Sahara and ride a camel or come and ski in the winter months.
