Welcome to our self-contained one bedroom architecturally designed garden sleep-out. The space Welcome to our Point Chevalier Garden Retreat. This private, self contained, one bedroom retreat is set in a tranquil peaceful garden. The double-sized bed has 100% cotton linen and the bathroom has modern fixtures and fittings. There is tea and coffee making facilities, refrigerator, microwave and wireless internet available. You have your own flat screen television with free to view channels.The sleep-out is set in our 'Park Like' garden and there is outdoor furniture for you to enjoy our tranquil surroundings. We welcome all reservations.Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am. Our sleep-out has its own private entry as it is not attached to our home. Your own key is provided. We are regular overseas and local travellers, and we are happy to talk with, and help out guests with any information and tips that you may need to help with your New Zealand adventures....... We live in Point Chevalier, that is a little beach community. The beach is walking distance from our home; approx. 5 minutes. The beach is very good for swimming, board sailing or kite surfing. Our local shops are approx. 10minutes walk away, with a supermarket, cafes, bars, bakery, doctor, chemist, post shop etc . Local Attractions Include: Western Springs Local Leisure Park Auckland Zoo Motat Technology Museum Speedway Chamberlain Park Public Golf course Point Chevalier Beach North Western cycleway Kite surfing venue Yacht Club Point Chevalier Coast Walk Coyle Park. This is a perfect location for guests who are visiting friends and relatives living at the Selwyn Village Retirement Complex, our home is a 1 minute walk away. The studio is situated in the Auckland suburb of Point Chevalier. We are located just 10 minutes by car to the Auckland city centre, and close to motorway links to the North Shore, West Coast beaches and vineyards, and all points south. It also has easy access to the airport motorway. The nearest bus stop is located 5 minutes walk away. The bus into the city centre (Outerlink) runs every 15 minutes and the journey is 15 to 20 minutes. There is a dairy (7/11 store) and a fast food outlet conveniently located within walking distance. There are also several food outlets in the area including a popular Restaurant 'The Twisted Tomato', ‘Ambler’ and ‘Little French Pastry Cafe’. Francesca’s Authentic Italian Pizza and Pasta is delicious food and they are all only a 5min walk away. We have a great organic wine shop near all these cafes also. We are happy to hire out our cruiser bikes. Perfect for our flat peninsula suburb. Take advantage of our popular cycle track nearby. Great fun!
