A cosy double bedroom in a warm and friendly ground floor flat in the popular neighbourhood of Marchmont, with cafes and pubs, shops, museum, cinema, theatre, gym, sauna and swimming pool all within walking distance. A light homemade breakfast is provided. The space The flat is on the ground floor of a traditional tenement building in a quiet residential street. It has the original pine floorboards throughout and is decorated in warm, earthy colours. There is central heating in every room as well as underfloor heating in the bathroom. There's an additional electric heater available if you need it. Guest access I will leave a light breakfast for you, (eg: homemade muesli, yoghurt, fruit, toast and jams) which you can help yourself to in your own time. With advance notice, I can cook a hot breakfast at an extra charge. Choose from the 'full Scottish' (includes haggis!) or scrambled eggs with Scottish smoked salmon. During your stay I have good maps and information leaflets on what's on and where to go. I am always happy to offer any advice on what you may need to make the most of your visit to Edinburgh - or plan a trip into the country. I can also give you a 10% discount code for some Edinburgh attractions and a leading tour company. I aim to be flexible and accommodating and want my guests to feel as comfortable as possible. If you need anything - just let me know. Other things to note Wi-fi is available in the flat. I will give you a password. You will have your own key and are welcome to come and go as you please.
