The Pelican

Relax, take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway by the bay, fish all day, catch crabs at the crabbin bridge or bask in the sun. The Pelican is a cozy cabin within minutes of the beach for swimming, fishing, crabbing or soaking up some sun. The beach is approximately a 5 minute drive from the cabin, bring your bicycle and ride to the beach, there are a couple of folding chairs for the the beach, beach bag and towels available. Big discounts for long term stays from Sept. to May only. The space The house is equipped with full kitchen, some amenities for cooking, gas grill on back deck for grilling and relaxing outside. The back deck overlooks a field with rabbits in the evening and lots of birds, with some view of the water. The house has central air/ heat, don't worry about packing to much there is a washer and dryer. There is WiFi and a Smart TV in the living room and bedroom. The bedroom has a Queen bed, a closet with extra linens and for your belongings. No Smoking in the house, there is a sand bucket out on the back deck for cigarettes. Guest access There is a small store off the main road into the community. The beach access is free and has public facilities. Follow the coast to Indianola Fishing Marina there is a store, sells bait and allows fishing, in spring/ summer weekends listen to free music, and order from the grill, fish or just watch, you make sight a pod of porpoises. Other things to note Please pick up yard after your pet, there are bags in the utility closet. Do not discard in our trashcan. Please dispose offsite. No pets on the furniture or left uncrated while unattended. You will be responsible for damage to the house
