The property is comprised of two connected living spaces, ideal for extended families. Set in a quiet rural location close to a working farm with sheep and cattle and yet is just a 3-minute drive to one of the area's most popular beaches - the beautiful Saunton Sands. If you're feeling energetic, there are amazing walks across the fields to Croyde or over Braunton Burrows to the 3 mile beach at Saunton and onto Crow Point (the location-scene for many well-known films and TV shows). The neighbouring village of Braunton boasts some great restaurants, take aways and boutique shops and the famous Croyde village is just a 10 min drive round the headland. Over the hills behind the house you can walk or drive to Georgeham and some of the best pubs in Devon if you fancy a Sunday roast. KEY FEATURES: Cosy lounge with large sofas for family movie nights. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (Up to 16 guests, max 10 adults): Main Barn (Sleeps 10): 4 bedrooms in total. The 'Captain's Cabin' bunkroom, a favorite with children, sleeps 4. A second bunkroom sleeps 2. Attached Cottage (Sleeps 4): 1 bedroom. A comfortable fold-out double bed in the lounge area. On Request: We can host an additional 2 children on camp beds. Please note you will need to bring your own sleeping bags for these. Guest access Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire property. This includes: The 4-bedroom main house. The attached 1-bedroom cottage. The fantastic landscaped outdoor BBQ area. Check-in is simple and convenient with our self-check-in lock box. Instant booking is enabled for your convenience. Plenty of space to park 4 vehicles safely and securely in the private parking area. You will have super-easy, self-check-in lock box access and we enable instant book for all guests. Other things to note Please note that the property is located on a working farm which is one of the things we love so much about it! However, this does mean that young children need to be supervised outside at all times due to farm traffic and live-stock in the fields all around. The garden is not fenced and so young children should be supervised as the farmer uses the track between the main house and the garden to get back and forth to feed cattle at certain times of the year. If you require a large family booking, please note that the captains bunkroom is made up of bunk beds so only really suitable for children (x4). There is a further bunkroom in the main house which can sleep x2. In the cottage there is a fold out double-bed in the lounger area. We can host a further x2 children on inflatables beds which we provide in the lounge area. So in total we can comfortably host 16 with max of 10 adults comfortably.
