Our studio (casita) is located on an elevated mesa 120' above the surrounding area with 360 degree unobstructed views with little to no local traffic. Our property is directly adjacent to the Montezuma Well National Monument (our back yard). Comfortable & roomy 750 sq. foot studio w/10' ceiling featuring casual southwest style, high desert living. Full kitchen (gas cook top, microwave oven, full size refrigerator/freezer, toaster, small coffee maker, tea kettle, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc.); full bathroom w/ Mexican Talavera sink and tile accents. Private entrance at the rear of the house (east aspect facing the NM) and outdoor living space in courtyard (facing SW) w/covered patio. Ideal for couples, singles traveling with a dog or two so they have a secure space to get outside unattended. Plenty of storage for gear and clothes. This studio is ATTACHED to our home; we ensure complete privacy! Our nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile north of our home. A new internet provider has just made higher bandwidth speeds available locally. Aerial HD Commercial broadcast TV and DVD player with free DVDs. You have full access to the entire suite. Includes private bath, kitchen, courtyard, and parking area plus freedom to walk and explore the area surrounding our property. My wife and I have lived in Central AZ since 1995. We have personal and professional knowledge of the area, the Four Corners region of the SW, and can advise on many recreational opportunities to help match activities to your personal interests. Either my wife or I will try to be present upon your arrival. This is a rural location where our private property meets public federal lands. US National Park Service. The area is quiet and we pride ourselves to keep our location in a natural setting. There is a short, steep rough gravel road up to our location from the paved Beaver Creek Rd. The road is navigable by any vehicle. There are three local eateries, convenience/gas station/liquor store, two 'dollar' stores, laundromat, auto repair, and post office all within a 5 min drive. You will need a vehicle to get around in general. Hiking, mountain biking, kayaking/canoeing, horseback riding, scenic paved driving and off-highway (OHV) scenic driving are also popular in the area. We are located a short 15 min. drive from the 'Red Rock Scenic Byway' and the Village of Oak Creek (aka VOC) which is the primary southern portal to the red rock landscape, and about a 19 mile drive from the incorporated city of Sedona. We will assist in any way we can during your stay. We are on our own private well in the high desert and supply both reverse osmosis and bulk filtered bottled water. Pets require a non refundable cleaning fee per pet. We request payment upon arrival which is a separate fee paid directly to us. Pet fees are variable depending on length of stay. Longer stays of a week or more are $80.00 per week per pet.
