A steep stair of 25 stone steps lead you to Vincenzo’s refurbished 18th century cosy apartment on the 2^ floor. Wood ceilings, open space, confortable feel. Few meters to the seafront and 1500 mt to the free sandy beach, 300mt Teatro Petruzzelli, 1km Central Station. NO breakfast included. The space The Apartment The Historic building is situated in Strada Vallisa, the key entrance to Central Bari Vecchia (drawing the boundaries between two different periods in history), the old part of the city which is surrounded by medieval walls. A stair with twenty five old stone, steep steps (reflect the architecture of the period), lead you to Enzo’s refurbished 18th century cosy and relaxing apartment on the second floor). Wood-finished ceilings, open spaces and two tiny romantic balconies capture a glimpse of the sea and welcome you to this beautiful, breathtaking, vibrant old town. The booking for 1 or 2 guests includes the use of the main double bed. The booking of 2 guests, which require two single beds, an extra fee of 20.00 euro for the use of the main double bed and the folding bed, while and extra fee of 25.00 euro for the use of the main double bed and the sofa bed. The booking for 3 guests includes the use of the main double bed plus the folding bed. In the case of 3 guests which require the sofa bed instead of the folding bed, an extra charge of 25.00 euro is requested. In the case of 3 guests which all of them require a single bed, the third guest has already paid the extra fee in the original calculation, while for the third bed an extra fee of 25.00 euro is required; in this case the main double bed, the folding bed and the sofa bed will be used. The booking for 4 guests includes the use of the main double bed and the sofa bed. In the case of 4 guests which require to use the main double bed, the sofa bed and the folding bed, an extra fee of 25,00 is required (each 1 to 7 nights). The booking for 5 guests includes the use of the main double bed, the sofa bed and the folding bed. No breakfast included. For medium-long stay ask for specific quotation, thank you. Turistic Municipality Tax collected, in cash, at your arrival (2,00 euro p.p.p.n. from 14y.o., max 4 nights). Guest access Facilities for guests The accommodation is equipped with a dining and seating area with a flat-screen 50’ TV, a bedroom with an italian double bed, a common area with a folding rollaway single bed and a double bed sofa, a fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, a kettle and a gas stove,etc) and two fans. The bathroom has a sink, shower, toilet, bidet and a washing machine. Please respect check-in (15.00 to 00.00 midnight) and check-out (10.00) timing. It is possible to change arrival and departure times only through a written authorisation. Furthermore, the changes must be made before arrival; check-in and check-out timing, according to needs (transport and other issues). CHECK-OUT: only with my written authorisation it is possible to change the standard check-out timing (10.00). It depends on many and different factors (cleaning for other guests arrival or , my personal availability, etc.); i.e. half day use from 10.00 to 15.00 (check-out at 15.00) a fee of 15.00euro; i.e. day use from 10.00 to 19.00 (check-out at 19.00) a fee of 20.00euro. The location is central to everything and you will find a fruit and vegie shop next door, an INFO POINT for tourists at 100 metres distance, and a minimarket at 300 metres distance. •Towels (including beach towels in Summer) and linen provided. •Pets are not allowed. •No smoking is allowed in the apartment. It is an important religious destination for both Roman Catholics and Orthodox Christians from eastern Europe as it holds the remains of Saint Nicolas, transported to this city from Myra around 1087 when the construction of the Basilica began. Celebrating the arrival of San Nicola’s relics in Bari, the Festa di San Nicola is a must! Bari’s Cathedral, San Sabino, built over the original Byzantine church in the late 1100s, is another massive building in the same Romanesque style. Take a walk along the breathtaking seafront and pass by the Fortino of San Antonio, an old fort turned into an art gallery and the Swabian Castle, an imposing fortress built by a Norman King in the 1100s!
