This is an international hostel-style bunk room. It's cozy, nostalgic, surrounded by books and sits above the cafe/ listening bar/ performance venue, ROZZ-TOX. This is the perfect stay for anyone passing through, or wanting a short getaway. It's a simple room - books, vhs, bunk beds, console tube tv. There is no kitchen or laundry. The washroom is a shared space with the 3 other tenants in the building - who are also cohosts for this listing - we keep it clean and stocked. the balcony is also a shared space and you're welcome to use it. The downstairs cafe/ bar is available to you during business hours - see www[dot]rozztox[dot]com for more info. either myself or jess will always be in the building; in the apartment or working downstairs in the cafe. you can find the cafe hours and more info at www[dot]rozztox[dot]com next door is a record shop (ragged records & music), an analog recording studio (future apple tree) and a lovely green space w/ a fire pit. across the street from the green space will be a new turf dog park-- we hope this will be finished this summer (2024). we are a 5 min walk to the mississippi river and a great little riverside park with bike path access. across the river is downtown davenport, which has many bars, venues, restaurants, cafes, a movie theater, museums & retail. there is a bus stop a block down, but this area is very car dependent.
