Welcome to Little Compton Modern! This newly renovated home (completed in 2020) sits on 2.4 acres in the heart of Little Compton, RI. Located a mile to town and less than 10 minutes to Goosewing & South Shore beaches. Enjoy a quiet setting down a dirt road designed with relaxation in mind. Connect with friends and family and be inspired at this special property! -> LittleComptonModern.com The space The house has an open inviting feel outfitted with unique furnishings and modern amenities including central A/C. Our oversized kitchen features a Bertazonni gas range, stainless dishwasher, and is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and silverware you need. The dining area and living room make for an excellent gathering space, with the dining table comfortably seating 10 people. In the warmer months, extend your dining to the outdoor deck where we offer a Weber Genesis grill along with a table and seating for 4. When you are finished with dinner, continue onto our fire pit area for conversation and star gazing. Other features of the first floor include: an outdoor shower, a sitting room with a Bluetooth enabled vintage stereo, turntable, records, and books to enjoy. If you are in the mood to watch a movie or TV, the media room is equipped with a 55” Smart TV (YouTubeTV enabled) bring your own passwords to watch Netflix and AppleTV. Additionally, on this level you will find a full bathroom with stand up shower. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with King bed, 2 additional bedrooms with Queen beds, a full bath, and office area. In the lower level there is a 1 bedroom with 2 Full beds. There is a couch, sitting area, Peloton bike (bring your login info and cycling shoes or test out with the pedal cages and your sneakers), 55" SmartTV with YouTubeTV enabled, selection of board games, and laundry room. The whole lower level is carpeted making it the perfect playroom for kids. There is a kids nook with large chalkboard, building blocks, toys, and children's books. Little Compton is rich with farm stands and vineyards, beaches and nature walks. The local General Store is like a trip back in time but has everything you might need. Tiverton, RI and Westport, MA are a quick drive away, with more great restaurants and activities. We are 45 minutes from Newport, RI and Providence, RI if you are looking for even more to do or a quick day trip. You can even be in Cape Cod and Boston in a little over an hour, but once you experience Little Compton you may not want to go anywhere! Other things: High speed WIFI (There is an EERO mesh network for fast internet w/ download speeds of 150 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 Mbps) is provided throughout the premises. Tesla electric vehicle charging is complimentary for all guests. ****The house will be professionally cleaned between all guest visits**** Just in case... there is a full sized blow up bed and Baby Bjorn crib in the upstairs closet. There is ample parking for all guests. We use a touch-pad pin-code August lock system instead of keys - prior to check-in you will receive your own code so you can let yourself in. It is pretty photogenic here. If you're interested in having a commercial photoshoot, please let us know before booking. Please note: Little Compton Modern is equipped with three outdoor security cameras. One facing the front drive, one facing the side property, and one overlooking the rear deck. The garage serves as the owner's Artist Studio and is not part of the rental. When the house is rented the studio will not be occupied. We adore this property and are excited to share it with you.
