Shooters Hill, Walkersons Estate

Shooters Hill is situated in the well renowned Walkersons Private Estate. Walkersons has some of the best trout waters in the Mpumalanga Highlands and aside from fishing, offers mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding, spa treatments, bar and restaurant. The house is well appointed and fully serviced. Three of the 4 bedrooms have fireplaces. We recently installed Solar and batteries to run the essential loads in the house. The house also has a gas stovetop. Other things to note The house is situated in Walkersons Private Estate. Walkersons boasts 11 lakes and dams, all stocked with rainbow trout, making the estate a fly fisher’s paradise. Both novices and experienced fly fishermen alike are invited to try their hand at fly fishing. All guests above the age of 12 years require a fishing permit. Fishing permits can be purchased online. The cost for fishing is R200 per person per day. Weekend special is R400 per person (from Friday to Sunday). Fishing permits are not included in your stay.
