Sanctuary on Lake George, Waterfront Paradise!

This is a small , attached Mother-in-Law apartment with a separate entrance. Best suited for a family. A waterfront paradise in the Ocala National Forest, down a 4 mile dirt road in a small neighborhood. Located on Beautiful Lake George at the mouth of the St. Johns River, a romantic getaway for two or fun small family water vacation. Close to 5 Springs. Popular area for boating, jetskiis, airboats, fishing. Birdwatching, kayaking, canoeing, relaxing or sightseeing, hiking Amazing sunsets! The space Located right on Lake George, the second largest lake in Florida and is surrounded by trees and water. We are in a small neighborhood but when you look out across the lake, there is not another house in sight. The sunsets are amazing. The quiet is (usually) unbelievable. The stars at night are brilliant. It is a beautiful, relaxing slice of paradise and the perfect retreat. Located within minutes of our amazing freshwater springs, kayaking, hiking, biking, swimming and bird watching. One queen bedroom and a loft above the living/dining room with 2 bunk beds for the kids and a large window overlooking the lake. One bathroom off the master bedroom and a kitchen linking the 2 rooms. Outside deck with table for 4, gas grill, and small swimming pool, all shared space. Guest access Guests have a separate, private entrance on the Lake side. All outdoor spaces are shared. This includes the front and side yard, pool, deck and outdoor grill. We have a dock where you can launch a canoe, kayak or boat (water depth permitting) We have 4 kayaks for your use. Other things to note We are far from the hustle and bustle of the city but within easy day trips of pretty much anything you want to do. Our unique, fresh water springs and beautiful nature are the attractions here! Boating is big here! Airboats and Jet skis are often seen (and heard) running to the nearby springs. The speedway in Barberville provides exciting dirt track racing. There are frequent fishing tournaments going one as well as just good fishing all around. There will be airboats launching from the boat ramp and driving by but they usually pass quickly. Just give them a friendly wave. There are also several excellent locally owned restaurants nearby and an Italian Pizza place that delivers. Quaint, interesting, unique small towns like Mt. Dora, DeLand (Home to Stetson University), Ocala (Home to Silver Springs and the famous glass bottom boats) and Eustis are nearby for shopping and browsing. Wildlife abounds. Birds are everywhere.
