We rent a small guest house (about 40 sqm - 2 rooms) for 2 people in the back of our property in the industrial area. The guest house is deliberately kept simple, as this corresponds to our design concept. City, nature, gastronomy - everything is easily accessible. In 30 - 40 minutes you can walk to the city center of Konstanz, in a few minutes to the Seerhein, excursion destinations with good connections. 2 min to bus stop. The guest house is suitable for business travelers as well as holiday guests. The space Small one-story non-smoking guest house in Constance, about 400 m from the Seerhein. Through a shared outdoor area you have your own ground-level entrance to the guest house (ground floor, large window front as a sliding element to the courtyard). We use the roof of the guest house as a terrace and this is connected to the main house via a jetty. The guest house has about 40 sqm with 2 rooms. Room 1: Bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink, shower, top-loading washing machine and 3 towels in different sizes per guest. Room 2: Living, sleeping, working and dining room with kitchenette and shelf for dishes, glasses, cutlery and cooking equipment with pots, bowl, sieve, cooking utensils, microwave, kettle, toaster and French press coffee maker as well as two induction hotplates - no oven and no dishwasher; fridge with small freezer compartment; double bed, 1 wardrobe, 2 armchairs, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (no illegal downloads!)Eierman table that can be used as a work and dining table. Fireplace and underfloor heating. Parking space is available on our property in front of the main house. Bicycle parking is also available. On request and for a fee, we will rent you a garage space. Guest access Access to the guest house is via a shared outdoor area with covered seating and garden. We and our dear dog Lumpazi also spend time in the outdoor area. Other things to note Tourism and climate tax - which you pay on arrival in addition to the booking price: - The 5.6% tax in Konstanz, which is levied on tourist overnight stays, is called the tourism and climate protection tax. It was introduced on April 1, 2023 instead of the previous visitor's tax. - The tax is 5.6% of the overnight price (including VAT) and is levied on all overnight guests aged 18 and over. You pay this when you arrive. This allows free use of public transport throughout the district of Konstanz to Stein am Rhein and Überlingen as well as other discounts. Flexible, unfixed furniture: - Please note that the guest house is fully equipped with flexible furniture: shelves are not fixed to the walls and the wooden cabinets were designed by Hermann so that they can be moved flexibly in the room with rollers. As a result, they can also be used as a privacy screen or room divider. Due to this furniture, the guest house is not suitable for toddlers. Bed linens and towels: - On request, 1 change of towels & bed linens per week is included.
