Secluded chalet with a loft/main/basement is nestled in the Chattahoochee NTL forest, Foothills to the Appalacian MTNs. Enjoy the vintage Tiger Open Air Drive Inn during MAR-NOV, beautiful Lakes Burton/Rabun, rent a fishing/pontoon boat, Talulah Gorge, formed by 6 water falls cascading through the gorge with num trails, to include a 3 mile paved trail, Black Rock State Park, the highest State park Sky Valley, Wander North GA, local vineyards & Helen < 30 mins away. Grill,smoker & pets welcomed. The space In addition to the loft and main floor, there is a full basement with a remote operated gas fire place & as added space for family time, games, Direct TV & an exercise room with a DVD player with motivational instructors. Guest access You will have full access to our chalet. The keyless entry code, ADT disarm information & the physical address will be shared 48 hours prior to your arrival. Other things to note Our home is smoke free; hence, no smoking is allowed inside or within 50’ from our home. For your & our protection we have a ring video doorbell & an ADT Security System at our chalet that you can arm while you stay or arm while you are away. All 3 exit doors as well as any window that can be accessed via the wrap around porch are secured. This is easily controlled at the ADT panel just inside. As for paper products, there will be 2 rolls of TP in each bathroom & a full roll of paper towel in the kitchen. The kitchen is not equipped with food in the refrigerator or cupboards; although, there are basic seasoning in the cupboard & a few bottles of salad dressing in the refrigerator. The water from the faucets & refrigerator is fresh mountain water. Because our home is in the midst of a National Forest, you MAY see all forms of wildlife, to include birds, bees, ladybugs, scorpion, bears, deer, coyotes, squirrels, turkeys, snakes, raccoons, etc. We do our best to maintain a clean & well kept premise to mitigate any unwelcome critters,:) Oh, one other thing, we have doggie gates installed at the entrance to the 2 sets of steps on the wrap around porch to secure your young children or your fur baby in the fresh air while you are away, etc. To mitigate moths & bees being attracted to night lights & door entrances, please turn off the porch lights during night time.
