A whole floor just for you, either to have one of the spacious double bedrooms (for 2-3 persons) or to have both spacious bedrooms for up to 6. The bathroom with a modern aqua shower is in between and is private for the booking. Breakfast is included. The space Our small guesthouse is a renovated 19th century house with many original features and decorated in keeping with this period together with modern facilities (ex. for the modern bathrooms) or exotic touches from our travels. Well-situated, 400m from the village and 900m from the closest beach or the GR34 custom pathways, we are also in a peaceful countryside spot surrounded by greenery and few neighbours. Etables is a pleasant seaside village with some lovely nineteenth century villas and its also near the popular seaside towns of Binic and Saint Quay Portrieux both about 2-3km on either side. We have a sunny south-west facing courtyard garden in front of the house and we also offer our guests the use of our large private garden (1200m2) that has long chairs, dinning tables and armchairs to relax in with a book or an aperitif or a hamac under a fur tree and a huge eucalyptus tree among other plants & trees. In this space there is also an outdoor KITCHEN (in a garden house) that is equipped for guests with fridges, a cooker/oven and BBQ. You can also use our guest bicycles for short outings. There are six of different sizes for adults and children and are lent on a first come first served basis. The garden also has a ping-pong table, swings and outdoor games. Our vegetable garden and small orchard as well as our hens give us organic produce (in season) especially for tasty fresh breakfasts. We also have 2 resident Breton sheep and 2 friendly cats who would love having a bit of attention. Our breakfasts are varied (change regularly and based on seasonal produce) with home-made and local specialities. They are liked by our guests and you'll have fresh fruit, juice or smoothies, dairy products, cakes, flans, or pancakes, cereals and a variety of breads and jams. On request, we can also make you taste local cheeses, charcuterrie or cook eggs for breakfast. The two private rooms on the SAME & private floor are spacious and comfortably furnished both with a lounge corners with TV (& one with an integrated DVD player), free internet Wi-fi and tea/coffee making facilities. They are (for 2 ou 3 occupancy per room extra children sofa bed) - La Chambre Rose has a large double bed (1.7x2m)and a single bed and - La Chambre Bleue has a double bed (1.4x2m), single bed and an extra small sofa bed which can sleep extra children. Situated on the same floor, these rooms are often booked together by families or friends or at other times by one group or 2 couples at a time. The orivate bathroom (with a spacious modern acqua shower cabin) is in between these two rooms and is for the sole use of the guest(s) on ONE booking at a time (for either both or one of these rooms). If you book for just one room, the other room will be blocked for any other reservation. It also has a wardrobe and a bureau or table for two. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a modern shower cabin. In this Maisonnette a ground floor double room can be booked if you do not wish to go up any stairs. It is more private with its own entrance and opens out to the well stocked (with hydrangea, roses, lavendar etc) walled garden and is adjacent to the main house. The prices per night include breakfast and vary by season and the number of guests and the number of rooms requested. Prices start at 65 euros for a room for 2 persons or 80 euros for the 2 room suite for 2 persons per night with breakfast. Each extra guest in a room or the 2 room suite is charged 15 euros per night and also includes breakfast. We also offer the possibility of sharing our 'Tables d'Hotes' for evening meals in the main house or in summer in the big garden. These are based on Breton, French and International cuisines and are 20 euros for a 3 course meal with drinks. But for other more simple or more gastronomique menus (including seafood) the menus prices vary are are more or less. Linen, towels and bathroom products are included in the B&B rates. The whole house is sometimes rented exceptionnally, usually at Christmas and New Year and we can even prepare a festive decorated table for up to 10 guests before your arrival. Being of french origin but having travelled and lived in England and abroad i also teach languages including French to English speakers. During your stay We gladly interact with guests (time permitting and if you wish) at the breakfast time and of course dinners are a great time to share special times. Other things to note Other arrival times may be possible but usually it is after 5pm and departure times are usually about 11am. Please ask us for our directions sheet and not just rely on the GPS. About 2 out of 10 guests (exception not the norm) can't find us easily but they didn't call us or use our direction sheet.
