The upstairs area is the domain of guests with TWO bedrooms and one bathroom. Each bedroom has one queen sized bed, wardrobes, bedside tables lamps, magazines, books... One has a desk as well. If you require only one bedroom we do not AirBNB the other bedroom whilst you are staying with us! However we can easily accommodate four guests travelling (URL HIDDEN) two couples or two singles. We reside downstairs . We serve a light breakfast - outside on the deck weather permitting . The space The house has an upstairs area consisting of two bedrooms with a Queen size bed in each and a shared bathroom. This area is the private space for our guests. We can accommodate one to four from the same party. We would not be taking guests from separate parties on the one evening. My wife Helen and I live downstairs so it is important guests understand it is not whole of house rental however the kitchen is available for tea coffee, light snacks We are situated five minutes walk to the bus which takes ten minutes to the city. We are also only two kilometres from beautiful Balmoral Beach in Sydney Harbour. There is also a quick bus service to Manly Beach as well…only about 15 minutes away by car or bus. The immediate area of Cremorne and Neutral Bay has plentiful bars , restaurants and hotels. Being in close proximity to the city but not actually in the city itself is the best of both worlds and provides easy access to beaches , shops , bars, restaurants and transport. Sydney is a large city almost 100 sq. kilometres but the main points of interest for visitors is very much the city hub . Our space provides perfect private overnight style accommodation for one or several days but is not suitable for those requiring full apartment or house facilities such as cooking, dining. Guest access Laundry and breakfast facilities. The kitchen is available for tea / coffee , light snacks….breakfast only. Guests are also free to use the outside western facing rear deck, shaded in summer with a lovely Jacaranda tree. During your stay Our main contact with guests will be on arrival when we can brief them fully on the area. If convenient a vehicle tour of the area is a possibility . We can walk guests to the bus stop indicating get on / off locations and ticket buying procedures. We will also have some literature at hand providing local and Sydney details although we do find with wonders of the internet most visitors are reasonably knowledgeable about what, where and how . Obviously we see guests at breakfast and once guests know where everything is, we are happy for you to help yourself. Other things to note As we do not offer whole of house our guests tend to be busy , short term ones who are out most of the time...tourists or business or .visiting for weddings nearby. We also need to advise that the cost of using both rooms will be $86 per room per night (whether it is one person or four persons) but this will include a light breakfast per person. Typical guests are out during the day, often returning to freshen up and rest before going out for dinner in the evening. As mentioned elsewhere there are many cafes, pubs, restaurants nearby.
