Experience this secluded and isolated three bedroom rice field/beach house part of a small hamlet 5 minutes drive from the surfing and fishing village of Balian (or walk along the beach 35 mins). Enjoy the 250 meter walk to the beach and admire the magical scenery of an earlier time on ancient Bali. On the way take time to relax on our hill garden with far reaching views of the sea rice fields and mountains. Excellent bird watching right from the deck. Body boarding is super fun here! The space Pondok Matekap is a new house crafted from local materials and blended into the magical surroundings with a grass roof (main living area,kitchen and terrace) and flat green roofs over the 3 bedrooms. Every piece of wood used is reclaimed. You can enjoy the 15m long swim zone of the freshwater pond filtered by the additional 20m pond containing plants and lava rock. All bedrooms are extremely well insulated, energy efficient with large openings to catch the sea breeze and can be cooled by air conditioning as required. Guest access Guest are welcome to enjoy the complete 3 bedroom house and garden with freshwater swimming pond. There is a further 2000m2 of plantation and lawn at the rear of the house for games and a stroll. Take the 250m path to the beach and on the way enjoy the 500m2 hill garden perched on a huge rock with incredible views.
