Habersham Mills The Shed

Enjoy the unique renovated and repurposed spaces at the historic Habersham Mills. The Shed space is part of the original Mill General Store. A team of architects worked to restore this structure. The Shed and all 6 airbnb spaces on the property have access to the Soque River and are only a 70 minute drive from Atlanta and Athens, Georgia. other airbnb spaces on this property: Airstreams Barber Shop Artist Space Post Office Cabin The space The Shed space is located behind what used to be the Post Office and General Store for the Old Mill. It has been renovated with numerous materials including steel, reclaimed wood, and cast concrete. The floors are original. The screened porch and large sliding window are unique features of the space. Guest access During your stay you will have access to the Soque River where you will find a screened pavilion, a screened lounge with prep kitchen. A Big Green Egg and gas grill are available for your use at the river. There is a stocked fire pit at the river's edge plus others on the property for your use. Below the shoals is a small island from which you can swim or launch kayaks which are available to rent through Melissa. Melissa lives 3 miles away and is available if you have any questions during your stay. You may explore all of the property using the map provided. Our Guide Book is available online for restaurant, shopping, sightseeing, and hiking suggestions. Parking is all around on the property and included. It is highly advisable that you have your own vehicle or a rental vehicle. (The Barber Shop is our only pet-friendly space) Other things to note Although the property is secluded, it is located on a road with occasional neighborhood traffic.
