Description
Welcome to our home! This sunny private suite has a queen bed, a desk and chair, closet, and an attached full bath. 100m down the street is the town swimming beach. You also have shared use of the kitchen, living room, and deck. The space This house is 29 years old and is in a quiet suburban neighborhood of single family homes. Windows offer a view of Long Island Sound - on a clear day you can see Long Island itself. This listing is for the entire third floor of the house, a suite which consists of a bedroom, a private bath, and a twin-bed alcove located just outside the bedroom door. These are all located separate from the rest of the house. The bedroom can be set up with either a full bed or a queen bed. The full bed is wooden (shown in photos) and has a mattress on a bedboard (no box spring). The queen bed has a two-piece box spring. It can be set up either on a metal bed frame, or directly on the floor. Guest access In addition to your suite, you will have shared use of the kitchen and dining area. You also have shared access to the backyard, a deck with a dining table and chairs, and a charcoal grill. The kitchen has all the standard pots and pans, plus pretty much every utensil & gadget you might want (blender, mixer, rice cooker, etc.) so feel free to cook up a storm if you get the urge! You are sharing these areas with us, so please be sure all dishes are in the dishwasher at the conclusion of each meal. During your stay I am around most days (about 50% of the time). When I am here, I am happy to answer questions, help with local recommendations, sign for packages, etc. When I am away, I am reachable by phone or text. Other things to note The bedroom has a large flat screen TV with Netflix & Roku. There is broadcast tv (antenna) but no cable TV.
