Log Cabin on Tumalo Creek

Nestled between tall old growth pines and Tumalo Creek, this handbuilt log home is in historic Skyliner neighborhood near Tumalo Falls. The cabin is 9 miles from the west side of Bend and downtown. It is serene, cozy and simple. The space Leif's Hideaway is set up for adventurous travelers who appreciate nature and the rustic beauty found near Tumalo Creek. There are mountain bike and hiking trails that can be accessed out the door. The cabin sits on 1.5 acres and offers a good amount of serenity while still being relatively close to the westside of Bend. (20 min drive/45 minute bike ride) It is also walking distance to Skyliners Lodge where there are many weddings and an easy hike to Tumalo Falls. Guest access The cabin is ideal for 1-2 people. It is a well designed small rustic home with simple features. Access is down a gravel road and a 4X4 vehicle or snow chains is REQUIRED in the winter months because of the snow. (Nov 15 - April 15) It does not have a washer or dryer. It does have high speed wifi. Other things to note The cabin is accessed down a gravel road and a narrow single lane bridge that crosses the creek. The closest paved road is 150 meters away so a 4X4 vehicle or snow chains is required in the winter. (Nov 15 - April 15)
