Cosy Dartmoor cottage, valley views, dogs welcome

All old beams and character, this upstairs cottage sits in the hilltop village of Hennock with views across the Teign Valley that will stop you in your tracks. Two bedrooms (king bed and double sleigh bed), one bathroom, separate kitchen and a sitting room with a sofa bed and dining for 6. Dogs are welcome (property is gated) and the village pub with real ales and proper food is a 2-minute walk. Dressing gowns, hot water bottles, fast wifi, and smart TVs throughout, including in the bedrooms. The space The Potters is full of old beams and character, with a layout that feels like a proper home rather than a holiday let. The sitting room is separate from the kitchen, which means someone can cook while everyone else relaxes. The king bedroom is bright and looks out over the garden; the double sleigh bed in bedroom two is tucked under the eaves and seriously cosy. Please note this cottage is up a flight of stairs, so not suitable if stairs are difficult. The sofa bed in the sitting room means you can comfortably sleep a small family or group of 6. Washer/dryer on site. The cottages can be booked in conjunction with each other creating a sleeping space of up to 19 people. Guest access There is a shared outside area with outdoor seating and BBQ. Dogs are welcome provided they are friendly as we have (very friendly) dogs too. The whole property is gated so we hope your pets will be safe and secure too. We are about 150 yards from the friendliest pub in Dartmoor, which serves real local ales, as well as inviting all our guests to the weekly quiz night and weekly meat draw.
