A roof in the Ghetto
Description
In the heart of the ancient Jewish ghetto of Pisa there is a refined, comfortable and bright house. Close to everything, away from the chaos. Thirty meters from the courthouse, a short walk from the theater of S. Andrea. An ideal base for visiting the city or the region. A refuge for those in Pisa to assist a relative in the hospital, or for work. Bicycles (in Pisa the car is not needed), guided tours, personal shopping, dinners and aperitifs are available. The space The house enjoys the splendid light of Pisa, which lights up the ocher of the facades and the red of the roofs. The ceilings have splendid antique frescoes. You walk on light parquet in olive wood. Each room has its own television. In the living room you will find a Bluetooth speaker to listen to your music, a selection of art, cooking and music books, a Go chessboard and a pink ukulele. Our idea is to combine the comfort of a home with a kitchen with the care of premium services (such as express English breakfast, dinners based on local or medieval dishes, guided tours with a final aperitif, personal shopper, bicycles for rent). We look forward to seeing you! Guest access Guests can use the entire house. There are two bedrooms with king size beds. A sofa that becomes an extra bed for a child. A three-quarter bed in the living room (which is not a transit area and is in fact a third bedroom). There are two bathrooms with toilets and bidets, but only one shower. Dishwasher and washing machine available and free. Fine coffee and tea are always available and free within the limits of common sense. Other things to note IMPORTANT. For cleaning, we use disinfectant and anti-spore products (the same ones used in hospitals and dental offices). For stays equal to or greater than one month (28 nights), there is a contribution to the payment of gas, electricity and condominium utilities, always through the Airbnb platform (if consumption makes it necessary). This is necessary due to the behavior of some guests in the past who have consumed amounts of energy outside of any parameter, leaving lights and appliances on day and night for the duration of their stay. Until such behavior becomes illegal, I rely on everyone's common sense. The house has air conditioning. However, the remote controls will be provided to guests only when the climate requires it at my discretion, and even in this case it should be used only when necessary, in the hot afternoon hours, and never at night so as not to disturb the neighbors with the engines. The air conditioner must be kept at a temperature of 3 degrees lower than the outside temperature, only when the house reaches 30 degrees, otherwise the dehumidifier is sufficient. The reason is purely ecological as well as energy-saving, but it is also better for your well-being: the house is well ventilated and located in a generally quiet place. The windows are all equipped with mosquito nets: try to enjoy the night breeze coming from the sea! In Pisa, the tourist tax is currently 2.5 euros per person per day. The tax must be paid at check-in strictly in cash. In the event of the presence of unregistered guests, a surcharge of 1000 euros will be applied for each unregistered guest in addition to the payment of the difference provided and at the discretion of the end of the stay, Other additional costs in case of rule violations: Loss of waste card: 150 euros Loss of keys: €100 Check out leaving lights and/or appliances (even on standby) and/or stoves on: 250 euros for each violation. (Also applies in case of misuse) Check out leaving waste in the house: 250 euros. Late check-out/early check-in: (at discretion) 50 euros Tip: Always be sincere and honest. If you have a problem or difficulty, talk to me and you will see that we will solve it without extra charge!
