This spacious apartment is located on the entire upper floor of a modern villa with the co-hosts living downstairs. A picturesque property surrounded by coconut trees in a quiet residential area in a cul-de-sac just 5-minutes’ walk from the main street. Property consists of a large living room, 2 terraces, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. Ideal for long term stays in the popular resort – Negombo. A short drive to the airport and close to the capital city of Colombo. The space Built in 2019 in native style to western standards the accommodation occupies the entire top floor. The exceedingly spacious living room has two seating areas, a dining table for six, and a ceiling fan. The 2 airconditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans can accommodate up to 5 people. They have comfortable beds with high quality mattresses, wardrobe and suitcase storage, mirror and ceiling fans. Both bedrooms have air conditioning. The rooms have high ceilings and are therefore very airy. The interior roof is made of solid hard wood. The doors and seating furniture are also made of real wood. The kitchen also leaves nothing to be desired. The stove has four gas flames and two electric plates. You will find a large fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, water filter and microwave oven as well as plenty of cookware, dishes and cutlery. The washing machine is also located here. The modern bathroom has a shower with solar powered hot water. An open terrace is suitable for sunbathing and drying clothes. The very large second terrace is covered. It offers shade and rain protection as well as 3 seating areas. The apartment has its own separate entrance. You can come and go whenever you need. The property is well-secured, and video monitored. There is onsite secure parking to park your car. On the property also live many birds and chipmunks and a beautiful tortoise. Guest access Access available day or night. On arrival at Cozy Nook, please ring the bell to draw the host's attention and to be let in. You will have access to all the facilities in the upstairs apartment consisting of 2 airconditioned bedrooms, a bathroom with hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen consisting 4 burner gas cooker, electric grill oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, solar powered hot water, water filter, tea / coffee making facilities, electric iron and ironing board; lounge & dining area and two balconies and 20-channel cable TV and Wi-Fi . You are free to use the garden downstairs as well as park your vehicle. Other things to note Sri Lanka as an exotic tropical island, packs so much into a small space: scenery, history and culture, fauna and flora, precious stones and cuisine, to name just a few. The airport is just 15 minutes’ drive away. Negombo City - with the famous fish market, St. Mary's Church, with stores, banks, railroad station and bus terminal - can be reached in 5 minutes.  In the other direction is Negombo Beach with many restaurants and pubs as well as the excellent SPA Ceylon. Here it is 10 minutes by tuktuk or cab. To Colombo it takes 40 minutes. On the main road you can always find a tuktuk. But also, the bus to Colombo leaves nearby.
