"Casa Maiolica" is located in the countryside of the island of Lipari in a very quiet area of the hamlet of Pianoconte about 5 km from the center of Lipari, away from the chaos of the summer period, surrounded by greenery with surrounding land used as a vineyard, fruit trees and seasonal vegetables. From the roof of the property you can admire a splendid sunset on the most western islands of the Alicudi and Filicudi archipelago while to the south you can see the coast of Sicily and the island of Vulcano. Guest access - IMPORTANT NOTES - * If you have a car to reach the apartment, once you arrive in the hamlet of Pianoconte, you have to leave the provincial road to take a secondary road. * The hamlet of Pianoconte where the apartment is located is in a higher area than the center of Lipari from which it is about 5 km and 10 km from the most popular beaches, for this reason * I recommend renting a vehicle (car or scooter) in the different rentals located in front of the port, in order to make travel on the island easier and more autonomous, alternatively you can use the extra-urban bus service, the bus stop is about 400 meters from the accommodation. Inside the property in front of the house, you have an outdoor parking and a (stocked) barbecue area. The roof of the "Solarium" structure is equipped with deck chairs and tables, even just for an aperitif or to enjoy a private sunset on the islands of Alicudi and Filicudi, which is accessed via an external staircase. All these areas are shared with other guests Other things to note For stays ranging from 2 to 4 weeks, bed linens and bathroom towels will be changed weekly free of charge. The hamlet of Pianoconte within a radius of 800 meters from the apartment is served by a post office with ATM, a tobacco-lottery machine, two bars, several restaurants-pizzerias with take-away service, a supermarket with a fruit and vegetable department and a butcher shop. From the apartment, the nearest beach is "Valle Muria" about 3 km away, a private and uncrowded beach. To reach it, you have to leave the provincial road and walk along a path for about 500 meters.
