Description
Unwind in this quaint and tiny cottage in a peaceful, natural garden. Plenty of books. WIFI. It borders on a green belt, begging a stroll through the forest to the duck pond. Easy access to vineyards with a view, for walkers and runners. Situated in Somerset West, nearby places to enjoy are: * The lovely long Strand beach * Historic and award winning wine and olive farms * Exquisite nature trails overlooking mountains and sea A 20 minute drive to Cape Town International Airport. The space The bedrooms are upstairs, and there is a winding path of steps to the front door, so this is not suitable for people with bad knees, or very heavy luggage (which might need to be carried by two people). All grey water from the bath and kitchen are piped into the garden for water-wise irrigation. The garden is passionately organic, so guests are kindly asked not to use any soap/shampoo/detergent that would upset the soil. Earth-friendly soap and shampoo will happily be provided. Please note: the bathroom has a bathtub only - i.e. no shower. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole cottage. Meals will not be provided, but can be made in the kitchen. During your stay I will always be available through the airbnb app, or mobile phone messaging. Other things to note Please note this is a peaceful and slow-living space. There is no TV or microwave oven. There is a hob, and a Smeg oven for cooking, and books and WIFI for entertainment.
