Peaceful seclusion after a long days work. Escape to Roads End on the North Shore, just minutes from the city, we have everything you need from comfy couches to cozy comforters. The galley kitchen is much larger than it appears and there are lake views from virtually every room. Trails are just 1/4mile down the road and you can fish for bass right off the dock! Seated on a private road, our cottage takes care of all your needs including electric/water/wifi/tv. We prefer long-term renters. There are 4 beds total - Bedroom 1 has one full bed and one twin bed. Bedroom 2 has one queen size bed. The kitchen and bath are fully stocked with towels and dishware. There is a large portable A/C unit upstairs which cools entire home (available Memorial Day -Labor Day). Ceiling fans in each room offer alternate to A/C. There is a real-wood fireplace we ask that guests not use. There is a gas furnace to heat entire home and space heaters for added comfort in upstair bedrooms. There is private parking for two cars off the front of the cottage with walkway to front door. Additional parking, if needed, in our main drive for snowmobiles, ATVs, or guests who are visiting you. We are just 3 miles from Constantia where there is a mini market and hardware shop, gas, and boat launch. We are about 25min from downtown Syracuse and just 15min from restaurants and bars in Brewerton/Cicero area. In the opposite direction, we are about 20min from Sylvan Beach. The cottage is on our property. We live in the main house and share the lake frontage. We respect your privacy and will not interact unless you want to but there is a chance we’ll run into each other in the large yard or driveway. We welcome long-term renters and would negotiate reasonable monthly rates. We live on a private road. The privacy and safety of our neighbors, as well as our own family (cabin shares 2acre lot with main house) is a top priority, therefore we screen all renters by comments left from your past renting experience , as well as, a completed profile. While we do not need to know all details of your visit, it is reassuring to know why you are visiting NY at a high level.
