Rental unit in Vancouver

This modern basement suite has underfloor heating and a private entrance. We're less central than some places but our city neighbourhood is relatively quiet. Located along a bike route, we are near parks, 2-3 blocks from public transit, 20-30 minute walk to cafés, food, Main Street & Commercial Drive. While there is soundproofing in the suite, we have children and noise can often be heard through the ceiling. Note the suite is not zoned for cooking so there is no stove or hot plate available. The space This basement suite includes a private entrance with keyless entry. The polished concrete flooring and underfloor heating add a warm elegance to the space. Included in the space is a: - bedroom with a queen-size bed, walk-in closet, iron and ironing board. - living space with couch, table and chairs. - TV with a few channels and an HDMI cable hookup - kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and kettle. Note there is no stove or hot pot as we are not zoned for cooking. - small bathroom with mirror, shower, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryer. Guest access You won't need to worry about keys thanks to our keypad access door lock. Two bikes are sometimes also available for an additional fee. Because the suite has its own entrance, you will enjoy total privacy. Other things to note We take pride in our home and look forward to sharing our suite with you. We want to make sure you have a wonderful experience. As such we provide sightseeing tips. A few more details to be aware of in advance: - The space isn't designed for much cooking as we are not zoned for a stove or hotplate. There is a kitchenette with basics such as a microwave, kettle, large bar fridge, and dishes. - The queen size bed is the only one sleeping space in the suite, as the small couch in the living room was not designed for this purpose. - Although we try to keep it to a minimum, you may hear loud footsteps and noise from above as the suite's bedroom is located below our living room. We have soundproofing but noise still come through at times. - There is no laundry available in the suite. There is a laundromat a few blocks away. - Some guests have sensitivities so we appreciate if you do not apply perfumes or colognes in the suite.
