Cozy attic apartment at the foot of the Black Forest

Our cozy apartment has been rented again since June 2024 after we renovated the bathroom and kitchen. It is located in the attic of our residential building, is a total of about 50 square meters and has a large, bright room, a bathroom and a kitchen. You have your own realm above ours, which means we may meet, but you are still completely on your own. You can park your car on our property. The space The living room and bedroom are spacious (approx. 30 square meters). It contains two single beds, a sofa bed, a closet, a desk and a chest of drawers. From the window you can see the mountains of the Black Forest. In the fully equipped kitchen you can eat together at a round table. In the modern and newly renovated bathroom, there is a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Bischweier, a small, quiet place, is located on the edge of the Black Forest, surrounded by orchards and is about 10 km from Baden-Baden. In half an hour you are in the higher Black Forest, in an hour in Strasbourg or Freiburg, Karlsruhe is 25 km away. Directly from the front door you can take beautiful hikes (e.g. through the orchards surrounding us or once around the Eichelberg). Just 5 minutes by car, you can enjoy the "Rotherma" thermal bath with sauna area. Just a 20-minute drive away, countless signposted hiking trails are available - we are happy to advise you. You can also ride a bike very well (even routes without ascent) or mountain bike. If necessary, we rent bicycles on request. Baden-Baden is always worth a visit: with the Frieder Burda Museum with interesting art exhibitions or the historic, Roman Friedrichsbad. We want you to feel at home with us. The kitchen is definitely equipped with coffee and various types of tea. If you need anything special, let us know in advance! There is a supermarket 5 minutes away, which is open Mon-Sat until 9:00 pm. Guest access You can reach the apartment from the outside via a spiral staircase. From here you go through a balcony to a separate front door, from there you turn right to reach the attic apartment via another staircase, which is only used by you. The attic apartment is locked by an exterior door. We ask you to respect our privacy during your stay - we respect yours as well, of course :-) Other things to note An extra bed for a third person (child/teenager) is possible for €10 per night. In summer, when it is very hot, it can get very warm in the attic apartment. We have installed air conditioning in the living room for these cases. If necessary, you can use our washing machine for a small fee. If possible, we rent our bicycles to our guests - if necessary, please ask (preferably with some advance notice). We are also happy to lend out a raclette grill and other kitchen appliances - just ask! We have a female dog, mixed breed, medium-sized, two years old. Siri is very friendly and quiet. You probably won't notice her at all.
