We are also in the perfect location to explore North Wales, the beautiful West Wales coastline as well as the Shropshire Hills. Forget using your mobile phone, there is no signal here; instead immerse yourself in nature, taking in the natural beauty of the Tanat Valley and Berwyn Mountains on the edge of Snowdonia. It’s the perfect escape to explore North Wales, the beautiful West Wales coastline as well as the Shropshire Hills. Visit the numerous castles and attractions that lie within a sort drive of the property. On returning from your day out relax in your own private garden, sit on the deck overlooking the river Rhaeadr listening to babbling lull of water as it tumbles over rocks; you might even catch a glimpse of otters and other amazing wildlife that live here. Lounge under the night sky and star gaze before tucking into your king-size bed where a restful blissful sleep awaits. The chalet is well equipped to meet your needs offering one bedroom, shower and open plan living area with sofa bed. The chalets own private garden affords privacy for outdoor living with a chimnea for chilly summer evenings. Its sits in the grounds of Glan Yr Afon the owners house so they are never far away should you need a hand. • Kitchen -gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge. • Washing machine on the veranda • TV, DVD, selection of DVD’s and WIFI, books and games, CD/Radio • Parking is adjacent to the main house • Fuel and linen is provided and included in the price Due to the proximity of the river and how the decking can be slippery, we advise that no children under 10 visit us, and even for adults we advise caution when walking on the decking. Also please be aware the ceiling height of the property does vary throughout, the lowest ceiling point is around 6’ and there are a few steps leading up to the property. We are in the country so even though we do have wifi enough to do basic functions and stream online, it can be slow! If you have any queries then please contact us we are always happy to help in any way we can. Guest access You will have access to a private garden area next to the chalet to relax and unwind, allowing privacy. You are also welcome to walk around our large garden next to the river. The property is adjacent to the main house, whilst we ensure privacy in that we will not enter the garden etc during your stay, you do need to pass the house to access the property. We have put fencing and foliage to maximise privacy. Parking is free and onsite, it is off road and very safe, it is about 40 yards from the property but it is again shared with those in the main house (but you will always have a space for 1 or 2 cars) Other things to note Due to the proximity of the river and how the decking can be slippery, we advise that no children under 10 visit us, and even for adults we advise caution when walking on the decking. No pets are allowed due to cleaning and damage, but we do have our own pets (dog and cats) which you may see in our garden Also please be aware the ceiling height of the property does vary throughout, the lowest ceiling point is around 6’ and there are a few steps leading up to the property. Due to its location, a car is advised for visiting as the nearest bus stop would be a thirty minute walk away and only runs Monday-Friday We do have wifi in the property and 4G outside but service can be slow and not reliable given our location! The property is adjacent to the main house, whilst we ensure privacy in that we will not enter the garden etc during your stay, you do need to pass the house to access the property.
