At the rear, the Island house has an amazing massive 72 m2 new hardwood deck and veranda, with outdoor dining, BBQ and outdoor lounge seating. Just perfect for enjoying some local wines or entertaining. The house is self sufficient for power and water. The power is generated by the 2kW solar power setup, there is plenty of power for everything in the house, like fridge, hot water, lights, TV as well as any laptops, phones, tablets, hair straighteners that guests may like to bring, however not for hairdryers. Water is pure Kangaroo Island rain water. The house is heated by lovely large indoor wood fire, for which we provide plenty of wood. Sit back and watch the wild Kangaroos come to feed at dusk from the comfort of your own private deck, they love fresh carrots and other vegetables. We also have a resident Goanna Lizard that visits from time to time to enjoy an egg, makes for some amazing pictures. We also provide the detailed information on things to do and places to visit on the island! Guest access Recently completed, the Island House is a well-equipped spacious 2 bedroom which has plenty of room for your couples or a family getaway offering modern stylish finishes throughout, porcelain tiled wet areas, leather lounges and a lovely wood fire for those cooler nights. 2nd bedroom at the property has 2 single beds ( with a child safety rail available)and lovely cot, which can sleep up to a 4 year old child.
