A fresh & modern designed space with a hint of rustic charm. A short stroll to the charming old town of Füssen. Dine al fresco on the large south-facing balcony while taking in the stunning 180 degree panorama view of the mountains. The light & airy bedroom has a queen-sized bed (160cm x 200cm), luxuriously plump feather pillows (as well as polyester pillows for people with allergies) separate duvets and a medium-firm mattress. Double glass doors lead out onto the private balcony. The open plan living area has a sofa, a charming collection of antique furniture and vintage curiosities plus lots of green plants which give the space a fresh and calming ambience. The large window overlooks the balcony, stunning river Lech and impressive mountains beyond. For meals there is an open plan kitchenette with breakfast bar and 2 bar stools. There is a fridge and a stove top with two hotplates for cooking, but no oven. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided. The cupboards are stocked with tea, coffee and basic refreshments. The compact bathroom is clean, the shower has good water pressure and there is plenty of storage space for your toiletries. For your convenience a hairdryer and iron can be found under the sink. Soft fluffy towels are provided. There is free, reliable WiFi throughout the apartment. There is access to a private washing machine (no tumble dryer) and drying rack in the communal washroom on the ground floor. Baby toys and equipment (travel cot, high chair etc.) may be available upon request, please just ask and we'll see what we can do! Guest access The secure access apartment is at the top of a short flight of steps on the first floor of a three-storey building. To access the building itself there are a few steps leading to a large foyer with more than enough space to leave a buggy/stroller if travelling with young children. There is also space to park bikes safely inside, either in the foyer or in the communal washroom on the ground floor. There is no parking directly on site but there is a free outdoor carpark on our street, 500 metres west of the apartment, approximately 5-10 minutes away by foot. (Un)loading luggage directly in front of the apartment is permitted. Other things to note Upon arrival you will be asked to complete a form with your details, which is a requirement of the Füssen Tourism Office for every visitor to the town. Already included in the listing price is a tourism tax (€2.20 per person, per night) which entitles you to a 'Füssen Card' with which you can obtain free bus travel in and around the area as well as selected free parking and discounts to some of the local attractions. We will give you your free Füssen Card at check in, but in order to activate it you must take it to the Tourism Office along with your completed form. Tourist Information will be able to further advise you on the complete range of benefits you can receive with the card. Please return the reusable Füssen Card to us along with the apartment key at check out.
