Lily Pond Cabin, an artistic potters cabin.

The Lily Pond Cabin is one of a pair of bespoke cabins on our farm. Artistic and self contained , full of art and personal touches, including my handmade pottery. There is unlimited NBN, so you can stay connected, in the peace of nature Next door is the shared Sunny kitchen, with a BBQ, a handmade dining table and wonderful views to the sacred Mumbulla Mountain. The water you can hear flowing into the lily pond is home to frogs who will serenade your quiet walks out into the starry night.. The space Ponderings is an 86 acre cattle farm where I have a pottery studio and gallery and Steve has a small workshop. Just up the road is the quaint village of Quaama with a shop, hall and tennis courts. A few minutes the other way is the village of Cobargo with its galleries, shops and an excellent pub with lots of live music and good food. Bega and Bermagui are less than half an hour away. This is a very inclusive community where people from all walks of life will feel safe and welcomed. The Lily pond cabin is in a private section of Ponderings, in a hidden gully on our soft green farm, a place to relax and get away from it all. All the delights of the far south coast are just a short drive away. The cabin is decorated with pottery and art made on the property and visits to the pottery studio can be organised . Guests can also walk around the farm to take in the beautiful views. The usual beverages and a continental breakfast are supplied. There is good mobile reception even Vodafone. Guest access The cabin is accessed by a private road and you will have your own space which has been fenced off for wildlife. When you arrive the cabin will be waiting, no need to see us. Other things to note If you book for a week there is a 10% discount. Food options: Your cabin has a coffee plunger and teapot along with coffee, tea, sugar and milk. There will be bread in the freezer, butter and spreads. There will also be some cooking basics in the cupboard and fresh herbs growing in the garden near the cabin. There is a microwave, hot, induction cook top, frying pan and saucepan for you to use in your cabin as well as a kitchen and dining space with BBQ, wok burner and sink in the charming Sunny Kitchen. Quaama store sells a good selection of food including pies and sandwiches and is only two minutes away. They also have everything you need to make up a nice picnic of local produce and are open from 8-6 weekdays, 8-2 sat and 9-12 Sundays. Cobargo has a selection of cafes and the pub, all of which have good food and coffee available. If you want to go a bit further, Bermagui has the best fish and chips on the coast (at the Marina) along with many restaurants and cafes . They also have supermarkets, as do Narooma and Bega.
