Our tiny house space is close to coffee shops, bars, parks, restaurants, and a short walk or bus ride to the light rail, library, and grocery store. The kitchenette means you can eat in or out. This stand alone unit above a garage used for storage gives you undisturbed privacy and convenience. All welcome in our cottage! The space Experience the joys of tiny living with none of the drawbacks! No need to climb a ladder or stairs to reach the queen sized bed in this cozy 200 sqft space (though there's an additional lofted sleeping space for people 5'6" and under). Perched above a single garage, this sturdy home doesn't rock, move, or sway. And this space comes fully plumbed, so you don't have to worry about overloading a composting toilet. Truly the best of both worlds, this home offers a taste of tiny with a dose of luxury. The bright kitchenette offers a cooktop with dual burners, a microwave, toaster oven, small refrigerator with built in freezer compartment, coffee machine, and kettle. Inside the drawers and cabinet you'll find dishes, and the basics for simple meal prep. A folding table means you choose how much horizontal space you want to spread out. In the European style shower, you will not only find soap, shampoo, and towels, but also the toilet! And the windows have blackout shades on every window so you can snooze anytime. Come and go as you please with keyless entry, street parking, and your own Seattle home away from home! Close to all the sights of Seattle, from the Space Needle to Pike Place Market, our location in the heart of North Beacon Hill in South Seattle offers unparalleled convenience. Coffee shops, bars, and restaurants are all steps away. The Beacon Hill light rail station is a leisurely ten minute walk with none of the traditional Seattle inclines. Get to the stadiums in only two stops, and the airport in six stops. Downtown is a 15 minute ride on the light rail. Guest access Guests have secure and private access to the cottage using a state-of-the-art electronic lock (code will be provided prior to your check-in date via Airbnb messaging). With the electronic lock, there is no need for key exchanges so you can come and go as you please. There is unlimited free parking along the street. We do not offer early check-in nor late check-out. This gives our cleaning crew sufficient time to properly clean, sanitize, and air out our property between stays. Check-in time is flexible anytime after 3 PM (late evening and night arrivals are fine) and check-out is 10 AM. Check-outs past 10 AM will be assessed a $50 late checkout fee per hour or portion thereof. Other things to note The Beacon Hill neighborhood is in the Sea-Tac Airport flight path, and depending on the direction of airplane flow you may hear airplanes flying overhead.
